SHORELINE NOMAD

Surf & Van Life Magazine

Shoreline Nomad is a 24-page A5 magazine I designed and wrote as part of a university brief to create a cohesive, emotionally engaging design publication. Inspired by my passion for surfing and the freedom of van life, the magazine explores the culture of living off-grid by the coast, from the world’s best surf spots to the growing movement of sustainable mobile living. The aim was to create a visually immersive experience that celebrates the simplicity, adventure, and connection to nature that both surfing and van life embody.

The design follows a clean, structured layout that balances clarity with atmosphere, using strong visual hierarchy and consistent rhythm across the pages. Generous white space reflect the calm and simplicity of coastal living, while dynamic photography and carefully curated typography bring energy and movement.
